Paintball is a safe sport when participants follow the rules. We care about your safety! Please read the rules below and follow them closely. Thanks for your cooperation and please let us know if you have any questions!
General Information
- Tuxedo Ridge Adventure Mountain Paintball is a "Field Paint Only" facility, unless otherwise stated. Please do not bring paintballs purchased elsewhere.
- Because this is a large Ski Area with summer activities, we ask that you please go in Paintball designated areas only - the set-up/shop area, chrono, speedball, mountain play areas, and restrooms.
- No smoking in the shop, on the mountain, or near the speedball court. If you must ... go to your car. Please be discreet - there are kids here.
- No drugs or alcohol, please. We reserve the right to check coolers.
- Please purchase paint before going to the field.
- Please let our staff know if you have any allergies to bee stings, or asthma, or any other condition which could effect your health while playing.
Safety Guidelines
- Masks must be worn in the chrono area.
- Masks must be worn in the Speedball Court & Woods games areas.
- Never break the seal (the foam seal inside the mask around your eyes) for any reason - even if fogged or dirty - call for a ref.
- Penalty for mask removal could be warning, removal from a game, or removal for the day.
- Barrel Plugs IN and Safeties ON at all times unless in the chrono area or in a game.
- When you're eliminated from a game, plug IN and safety ON.
- There shall never be any hand-to-hand or physical contact, unless to tag an opponent.
- No shooting or dry-firing unless in a game or at the chrono station.
- Field adjustments to over 265fps speed will result in elimination for the day.
- We have a 20-foot Surrender Rule at Tuxedo Ridge. Before shooting at close range, please ask for a surrender. If your opponent refuses, fire away once.
- We have a 10-foot NO SHOOT rule. Please do not fire if closer than 10-feet!
- A player is eliminated when a paintball breaks on them leaving a mark the size of a quarter or more. Call for a paint check if in doubt. Once you're eliminated, call "Out!" and hold your marker over your head. Put Safety ON and Barrel Plug IN. Once you call yourself out, you're out no matter what.
- Any splatter from a paint grenade is considered elimination.
- There are no "time-outs" in paintball, unless directed by a field referee.
- Once you're eliminated, you cannot talk to your teammates, nor can you give any paint or supplies to them.
- During a Paint Check, there should be no shooting, no moving, and no talking. At this time, you may reload or change CO2 tanks.
- Players will be given armbands for team identification.
- Players will be advised of all scenarios, games, and missions before each game starts
- The decisions of the referees are final and may not be disputed.
- No tools are allowed on the playing fields.
- Players may not go outside the field boundaries during a game.
- A "hit" player may not wipe off paint to remain active.
- A "hit" player must exit playing field as soon as possible; they may not fire at an active player.
- No climbing trees
- No throwing sticks, stones, etc.
- If your CO2 "burst disc" lets loose, put the marker down on the ground and step away until it discharges.
- In case of thunder & lightning, we'll vacate the field to our base set-up area.
- Barrel plugs or sleeves must be used at all times when not actively engaged in a game. No exceptions!
- Trigger locks must be on at all times when not actively engaged in a game. No exceptions!
- There is absolutely no shooting allowed in main building or in the parking lot. When on the playing fields, there is absolutely no shooting outside field boundaries.
- Customers using their own equipment must have the equipment chronographed by a staff member at 265 feet/second or less. Once marker velocity has been set, you may not alter the settings in any way while at Tuxedo Ridge. A staff member may check a marker at any time if velocity is in question.
- To ensure safety and fairness among all, this is a field paint only facility. All paint must be purchased from Adventure Paintball at Tuxedo Ridge.
- You may not fire on a player who has already been hit and is exiting the game.
- You may not fire on an Adventure Paintball staff member who is not an active player in the game.
